Protecting your inflatable from outdoor wear!

Protecting your inflatable bounce house from the elements is important for safety, longevity, cost savings, user experience, and peace of mind. By safeguarding it from the sun, rain, wind, and heat, you reduce the risk of damage, extend its lifespan, save money on repairs or replacements, provide a more enjoyable experience for users, and have the assurance that you've taken the necessary steps to maintain its condition. To keep your inflatable from the elements, such as sun, rain, wind, and heat, you can follow these guidelines:

1. Sun Protection:

  • Set up the bounce house in a shaded area whenever possible, such as under a tree or a canopy.
  • Try not to leave the inflatable out in the sun for long periods of time. After each use, you should roll up your inflatable for storage and avoid leaving it out.

2. Rain Protection:

  • Avoid setting up the bounce house during inclement weather, especially heavy rain or thunderstorms.
  • If rain is forecasted, deflate and store the bounce house indoors or in a dry area until the weather improves.
  • Always be sure to monitor your power supply and blower connection for potentially wet conditions

3. Wind Protection:

  • Check the manufacturer's guidelines for the recommended wind speed limits for your specific bounce house model.
  • Securely anchor the bounce house using stakes or sandbags according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  • If strong winds are expected, consider deflating and storing the bounce house until the wind subsides to prevent it from being blown away or damaged.

4. Heat Protection:

  • Avoid setting up the bounce house on hot surfaces like asphalt or concrete, as they can absorb and radiate heat.
  • Keep the bounce house inflated and periodically spray water on the surface to keep it cool for users, should it be a specifically hot day.
  • Consider using a misting system or attaching a garden hose to provide a refreshing spray of water for users to cool down. Many units come equipped with this sort of system!

5. Proper Storage:

  • When not in use, deflate the bounce house, clean it, and store it in a dry and cool location, away from direct sunlight.
  • Make sure the bounce house is completely dry before storing to prevent mold or mildew growth.
  • If possible, store the bounce house in a storage bag or container provided by the manufacturer to protect it from dust and debris.

By following these guidelines, you can help protect your inflatable bounce house from the elements and extend its lifespan while ensuring the safety of users!
